**Clerk - Edible Beans Twin Falls, ID**

This is a non-exempt level position.

**Position Summary** **:**

The office Clerk is a member of the office team at the ADM Edible Bean Seed facility in Twin Falls reporting to the plant superintendent. The colleague in this position provides clerical and administrative support for management and operational colleagues in warehouse operations. The successful colleague will have a strong understanding of the dynamics of the seed business and the priorities of the company and division.

**Job Responsibilities** **:**

+ Perform a variety of responsibilities ranging from routine to complex while maintaining a calm and confident persona

+ Be proficient with all areas and aspects of the ADM inventory system

+ Prepare finished product samples (splitting, dividing, data input, tagging, organizing, record maintenance) for analytical testing from harvest, mill, treat pack, and inventory sampling using equipment and computer data systems

+ Scale house and probe operations during harvest and shipping season

+ Demonstrate initiative to work independently while flexible enough to work in a team setting

+ Responsible for the creating of treat pack work orders, tags and placards to be used in the treating and packing of seed.

+ Be knowledgeable and have a working understanding of state regulations of seed certification standards and process

+ Ordering and maintaining inventory of seed certification tags through state regulatory offices

+ Communicate with warehouse personnel and management to ensure efficient coordination during seed treatment processing.

+ Assist management performing month end tasks including inventory corrections.

+ Perform back up duties during co-worker absence (cross-training)

+ Cross-train other administrative positions for backup and vacation coverage

+ Assist in maintaining office filing system including record retention

+ Assist in maintaining proper QA office housekeeping requirements

**Job Requirements:**

+ 2-3 years' experience in a manufacturing office setting preferred

+ Experience in Microsoft office products including excel, word and outlook

+ High school diploma or equivalent required

+ Ability to sit or stand for extended periods

+ Must be available to work extended hours as needed
