**Inventory Supervisor**



This position is responsible for managing the parts inventory maintenance program, purchasing and financial reporting for the plant maintenance department and supervision of parts clerks and buyers.


**The responsibilities of this position include:**


+ Provide coaching and development to maintenance team members Conduct performance reviews, reinforce performance expectations, and issue progressive disciplinary actions and coaching as needed

+ Follow Chobani's safety procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices

+ All quoting and vendor selection for spare parts, tools and supplies (machine maintenance, utilities and building maintenance) to obtain the highest quality parts for the lowest overall cost of doing business.

+ Second and third sourcing of parts and supplies

+ Analyze pricing variations and proactively negotiate cost reductions with suppliers

+ Work with engineering and the project teams to determine critical spare parts for new equipment and projects

+ Audit and monitor spare parts inventory, to ensure proper ordering schedules

+ Track inventory turns to maximize space constraints and positive cash flow

+ Identification, parts creation, and pricing for parts left over from projects and construction;

+ Supplier part discrepancy resolution; corrective actions and disqualifications

+ Part number generation (part number, bin locations, pricing, vendor and manufacturing information) for all new items

+ Parts issuing to track costs on work orders and individual departments

+ Manage and further develop the application of the Infor TM parts management system

+ Develop procedures for the processes needed to support the EAM functions

+ Manage the purchase order process for work order items, spare parts, supplies and services, for all maintenance, utilities and facility related items.

+ Warranty returns and RMA's

+ Coordinate the preventive maintenance program and planning to ensure all parts are available.

+ Purchasing and kitting for preventive maintenance

+ Conduct cycle counts and analyze variations, of over 20%, to determine the root cause of the adjustment

+ Incoming and outgoing shipment tracking

+ Resolve invoicing and shipping issues

+ Develop budgets, tracking and provide month end reporting

+ Work closely with finance on internal accounting questions and resolutions


**The requirements of this position include:**


+ Bachelor's Degree preferred

+ 5 - 7 years of experience in inventory management and procurement

+ 3 - 5 year's experience in industrial maintenance environment preferred

+ Knowledge of parts management and inventory systems

+ Strong analytical ability, troubleshooting and decision-making skills

+ Effective leadership skills with proven ability in coaching and developing others

+ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

+ Extensive computer skills including office suite and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
