St. Luke's Magic Valley is currently accepting applications for a Registered Nurse in our Canyon View in Twin Falls, Idaho. As a Registered Nurse you will work closely with Mental Health professionals in the provision of a very high standard of patient care. Flexible scheduling and shared clinical decision-making are just the beginning.


Mental health is important to overall health, and sometimes inpatient treatment is needed in order to restore balance. Our programs address acute psychiatric issues, in addition to medical detoxification from alcohol and drugs. We use individual, family, and group counseling to address personal, family, emotional, psychiatric, behavioral, and addiction-related problems. The common goal of our programs is to help you find positive solutions to resolve the challenges or crisis in your life.


**Required Criteria**


+ An associate Degree in Nursing (ASN)

+ Experienced in psychiatric services preferred

+ Crisis Prevention & Intervention training within 6 months of hire.

+ Performs visual checks on patients based on patient's needs and precautionary levels.

+ Assists with the management of disturbed, aggressive and self-destructive patients per policy

+ Follow procedures regarding patient's authorized or unauthorized absences.

+ Follows facility policy and procedures for inquiry calls.
